Problems logging in?

This article addresses common issues related to user login/authentication

If a user is unable to login to the Prelude Detect/SCM console, please follow the steps below:

First, there are several types of user accounts, knowing what account type you have is step 1 in this process.  Your original Prelude invite email includes the account type.

Prelude Account

If you were using a keychain for token based auth, you have been migrated to a Prelude account that uses your email as username and has a unique password.  If you forgot your password, you can reset it using the Forgot your password link

Enterprise SSO Account

Most organizations choose to control account access using the OIDC configuration.  This allows users to login with their business/enterprise account credentials.  This can be Microsoft, Google, Okta or custom.  SSO/OIDC users should click the "Continue with Single Sign on" link to login to Prelude.

Google Account

Prelude Detect/SCM can use your Gmail account for authentication, if your organization uses Gmail, you can click the Sign in with Google link.

Microsoft Account

Prelude Detect/SCM can use your Microsoft account for authentication, if your organization uses Microsoft, you can click the Sign in with Microsoft link.

No Accounts found

In the event you successfully login and see "No accounts found" message, this means your subscription/evaluation has expired.  If you wish to restore account access, you should contact your Technical Account Manager or email support@preludesecurity.com
